When building robots, finding the right sensor and implementing in your environment can be time consuming. Some also require calibration for your specific setup.
Ideally of course you would want to buy a complete robot with all sensors as recommended. However that might not always be the best option. When using ROS2 (Robotic Operating System) integration of many sensors and components is possible. Giving you the ability to create your own autonomous robotic system or computer vision production inference system as examples.
